How to insert signature in Google Docs

If you are reading this article, it is safe to assume that you know what a Google Doc is. We will follow all the steps to get your digital signature in Google Docs.
There are two different ways to insert signature in your Google Docs.
Insert a signature in Google Docs
Open your Google Document
First things first, let us first head to our Google Doc. Usually, you can find your documents at your Google Docs Home. Note that if you have not already logged into your Google Account, you may need to do that first.
Navigate to the position where you want to insert your digital signature
Navigate to the position where you want to insert your digital signature For our document, we want to insert the signature at the end of the page. You can place your cursor where ever you desire to insert your signature.
Insert -> Drawing -> New
Click on the "Insert" option from the top navigation, and it should open up with more options. Select "Drawing" from the list of options. Select "New" to proceed.

Once you have clicked "New," a new drawing should open up. Click on the "Arrow" next to the "Line" tool. It should present you with options to select.
Create your signature (Optional)
If you have already created your signature, you can jumpt to the next step.
If you don't already have a signature to use, you can simply head to our E-signature creation page and create your signature in various fonts, slant, color and letter spacing. You can also choose to use a white background or a transparent background. Transparent background always works in every situation, a safe option if you are not sure.

Once you crate the signature, download the file to use on your google docs
Upload your signature
Upload your signature by choosing various options available. As we saved our signature on our computer, we will just upload our file.
Align/Adjust your signature
You can adjust your image on the drawing tool in a way that it aligns towards the left, so it looks perfect when you view it in the document.
Click 'Save and Close'
Once satisfied with your signature, hit the "Save and Close" button.
Result
Your newly imported image signature should appear in your Google Doc at the position where you selected your cursor.
Pro Tip
To move the signature to a different location, you can either copy-paste the signature after selecting it. Alternatively, you can drag the signature to a new position in your Google Doc.
Draw a signature in Google Docs
Open your Google Document

Click the arrow next to the 'line' tool
Once you have clicked "New," a new drawing should open up. Click on the "Arrow" next to the "Line" tool. It should present you with options to select.
Draw your signature using the 'Scribble' tool
To draw your signature, choose "Scribble" from the list.
Align/Adjust your signature
Show your creativity and create your signature.
Click 'Save and Close'
Once satisfied with your signature, hit the "Save and Close" button.
Results
Your newly drawn signature should appear in your Google Doc at the position where you selected your cursor.
